As a musician myself, I am passionate about working for clients who strive to further art and music in the community. In this project, I’ve chosen to highlight my client’s 2019-2020 concert series as it was the first year that they chose an overall theme for all their concerts. I had the opportunity to design a series of marketing materials that represented each individual concert, but also worked together together as a unit. The 2019-2020 theme was “stories and prayers,” and I drew inspiration from books, story telling, and paper. I aimed to create posters that featured textured illustrations that resembled layers of paper; the medium that stories and prayers are often printed on.

As the years progress, my work with the Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir has grown along with my expertise. From starting as young teen I learned the challenges of juggling multiple sponsors, information, and themes while upholding the integrity of the design.
